Dark Star, 2019 Tamara Wilson, 13×13” tile, grout, dress pins, velvet

The Lemonade Stand is a 1965 Playmate, 14ft long by 7ft wide pull behind trailer from Summit Lake in the Alaska Range. After towing it 120 miles to Fairbanks, it has been transformed to exhibit art.

The Lemonade Stand’s strives to encourage experimental, performance, and installation art in addition to traditional mediums by providing a venue for them in remote Alaska. The Lemonade Stand facilitates creative conversation while giving back and growing it’s community as it travels beyond it’s base in Fairbanks by road and ferry across the giant
state of Alaska.

Tamara Wilson – Boss Lady, Creative Director

Being immersed in conversations about art and assisting artists pursue their ambitions fuels my own artistic practice. This is why I have started The Lemonade Stand.
